The family and friends of Leslie Smith are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against ovarian cancer. Please show your support!

Two people fell in love, got married, and started their lives together. Chris and Leslie were happily married for 2 years when they found out they were expecting. What a joy! About 3 months into the pregnancy Leslie developed a mass in her ovary, requiring surgery. Shortly before Christmas 2011, Leslie had the surgery to remove that mass. During surgery they found that Leslie had stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. The doctors were confident they removed all the cancer and gave a good prognosis. Many people would not be able to take that news, but Chris and Leslie put on a strong face and began their fight to battle this, staying positive. Plans were put into place that chemo would be started in February and hoped to continue on with the pregnancy without any issues.
Then Feb 4th 2012 came. Leslie was rushed to the hospital with difficulty breathing. The cancer had come back and caused issues with the pregnancy. Their angel, Jocelyn Rose Smith, was born stillborn the next day. And Leslie started chemo days later.
For three months Leslie has been a warrior fighting past the evil side effects of chemo and Chris a warrior being their for his beautiful wife- the two of them, never giving up.
On May 17th, 2012 Leslie went in to have a hysterectomy and they found the cancer had spread. Again, most people would crumble under devastating news like this, but this amazing couple is determined to march on and FIGHT! And FIGHT they will....but they need your help.
Though they have health insurance, it only covers so much. Numerous surgeries, labor/delivery, chemotherapy, on-going hospital stays, prescriptions and other bills are adding up and the thought of how they will pay for this should be the last thing on their minds and their main focus should be getting through the next rounds of chemo.
Please find it in your heart to help this amazing couple.
Every little bit helps.
Thank you, and God bless!
