Sami Grisafe has the incredible honor of being selected for the first ever USA Football’s Women’s National Team. She is one of 45 women who have been selected from over 1,000 in the United States to represent America in the FIRST International Women's Tackle Football Tournament in Stockholm, Sweden of June/July 2010. There will be 6 countries repesented including the USA. Those countries include: Canada, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Austria and of course, the USA.

Sami has been chosen for the Independant Women's Football League All-Star team for 3 consecutive years and is honored to be asked to play for Team USA.

Sami Started her football playing career at age 10 in Redlands, CA, where she was lucky to have such sound training from amazing coaching staffs. She played through her sophomore year in high school at Redlands Senior High. Voted by her team as captain her freshman year, she lead her team to a Citrus Belt League Championship. Her sophomore year she made history, not only as the first woman to play for a century old football club at RHS, but also as the first woman ever to play at Quarterback in a Division I Varstiy Football game in California.

Now entering her 4th season at Quarterback for the Chicago Force, Sami hopes to lead her team to an IWFL Championship. In 2008 the Chicago Force rubbed elbos with victory, but lost to the Dallas Diamonds in a 29-29 overtime loss in the 2008 IWFL Championship. Not content with a Eastern Confrence Championship, Sami is working hard to not only make 2010 a championship year for the Chicago Force, but also make it a championship year for the United States of America! Please help her make this dream possible, so she can bring home the Gold from this history-making event!
