Hope for Hillary Transplant Fund to raise funds for the medical expenses not covered by Insurance from Kidney and Pancreas Transplants.

Hillary was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and has lived with this disease for over 33 years. She is the strongest, most generous person I know. Her son is the light of her life, and her family and friends are her greatest support system. Hillary never shows them when she is struggling she always has the time to help them through their daily crisis especially her older sister. Even though she was living her own hell when on dialysis she always wanted to know how her new nephew Zoli was doing and she was so happy for me when I told her I was pregnant she wanted to hear about every new detail and lived with me through the difficult times without hesitation I could not have made it through those sleepless nights without her.

We were so grateful that she actually was able to spend 2 days with Zoli when he was 3 months old but we had to rush her back home from Los Angeles when she received the call there was a kidney waiting for her, unfortunately it was too late and she did not arrive home in time. We were all devastated for months. She never complained once about the dialysis, or feeling helpless when she had every right too. I would if I were in her shoes. She would say there's another angel out their for me, and she was so right.

Well summer was almost over and she received the call and this was it I felt in my bones, she was so calm. August 23, 2011 she arrived at the hospital and waiting as they ran all the necessary tests to ensure she was a match for a new kidney and a new pancreas we were all anxiously awaiting the news we longed to hear for over 3 years. THEY ARE BOTH A MATCH!!! Hillary was about to get not one but two gifts of life. I couldn't focus at all I wanted to be by her side I was supposed to give her my kidney but instead I was her voice, and the lifeline to all of her adoring fans through updates from my mom and her husband.

Facebook was the lifeline to hear the story of Hillary and I was able to share updates on her progress and status throughout the surgery. Dr. Jason Denny became her hero, prince charming and forever bonded to our family. She thanks him and the donor's and their families each and every day and is so grateful for their generous gifts of life and I truly cannot think of another human being who deserves it more, she has had to endure tough life lessons at a early age and no child should ever have to life their life the way she did.

It is my lifelong mission and dream that she will soon know what is like to live a healthy life unfortunately this is not happen in the near future since she has been given the financial stress of medical expenses, that will put her family in a devastating debt to live a healthy life. Recently we were told one of her necessary antibiotic medications will cost $2700 and this does not included the very costly anti-rejection medication. It is disheartening that we live in a society that does not support the survival of lives, this is not an elected condition, this is pure and simple life or death. The world needs more Hilly and please share your love and support for my stunning and beautiful sister.

Thank you and god bless you and your families. We are grateful for your donations, prayers and kindness.
