Please Help Us To Give Anthony A Voice By Donating Any Amount. Again Thank You For All Your Support.

Anthony was born on May 4th 2009 it all seem normal at first, but as a mother I knew there was something different about him, he was different from his other siblings. As months went by I noticed that he was not doing things that babies would do at his age. Everyone always said the usual; boys develop slower, "their boys and that’s how they are. Months went by of falling in and out of a false sense of security.

Facing reality my husband and I found the truth about what was really going on with Anthony; and we got the news on November 3rd 2010 that he was autistic. We went through all the emotions that any parent would go through from disbelief to why us, how can this happen to us.

The biggest adventure of our life was ahead of us, through all the lining up, the shifting of clothes during laundry days, to having to leave restaurants because it was much to noisy for him, to leaving the beach because the sound of the waves was just to loud, things that we all enjoy are just a bit of a challenge for him.

Anthony has improved a great deal since his beginning, something that has not improved is his voice; we as parents would give the world for our kids, but all we would like to give Anthony is a voice. A voice even a synthetic form of communication that would relieve the frustration and anger that is apparent in his eyes, when we just can't understand what he is trying to say or want.

His journey will be a long one, and we will be here for him every step of the way. We all are unaware of what millions of individuals with disabilities go through on a daily, until it comes home. This experience has made us more aware of the challenges for the simple tasks of daily life that we take for granted. Thank you to all our friends, family members and well wishers for your support and help.

Sincerely Angelic
