The family of Raidon Magnus Sadler are raising funds to cover his ACL surgery. Thank you for your support!

**UPDATE**
I have found a vet that will perfom a less invasive procedure. After much research, I've decided against the TPLO and pray that this alternative procedure will provide him with a stable, pain-free knee for the rest of his life with us,

Raidon is my sweet 6 year old, long coat Japanese Akita. I've had Raidon since he was 10 weeks old and he has been such a great companion from the moment he came to live with me. About a month ago, Raidon tore his ACL while playing with his fluffy sister, Raegen. After several visits to the vet, we've found that his knee is already showing the development of arthritis, which will only get worse if not treated. Raidon has many, many more happy years left with Raegen and me and we cannot bear for him to go through those years in pain or discomfort.

Our surgical specialist has recommended a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) to stabilize his knee and allow him to have full use of it almost immediately following surgery. The procedure requires 6-9weeks of recovery, which means no play time with his beloved, bratty sister.

Many have scoffed at the cost of Raidon's surgery, commenting that, "It's just a dog." Raidon and Raegen are the closest thing to children that I have. Next to my family, they are the next constant in my life. When boyfriends come and go, friends spend their season, I always come home to my fluffy monsters that, no matter what, great me with kisses and joy every single day. As a public school teacher, I love my job, but none of us have seen a raise in years. My personal financial margins are presently thin, but I do not want that to prevent Raidon from living pain free. Your positive thoughts, prayers, and generous donations are greatly appreciated.
