We have to raise money for our loving cat, Joey, for his full mouth extraction (all of his teeth pulled) so he can eat without pain again.

3 year old Joey has had a rough life.

We are not Joey's first family. Joey was originally an outdoor kitty that luckily found his way to his rescuers, Carolyn and Grant from Yeti's Kitty Suites, who healed him from a deep side wound most likely incurred from a cat fight. They adopted him out to a young couple, but that family was just not the right fit for him. Poor Joey started having litter box issues and lost 50% of his fur while living with them. He was returned to Grant and Carolyn within a year.

My husband and I have welcomed Joey into our home for the past year and it is hard to imagine our family without him. He cuddles with our dog and loves his two kitty brothers. There is nothing in the world that he loves more than snuggling on a warm lap for hours.

But Joey is sick again. After he had a dental cleaning and 5 teeth removed in May of this year, he needs even more teeth pulled now. He can't eat because it hurts too much. It hurts so much that he runs away from his food dish hissing and hides under the bed. Without another dental cleaning and a full mouth extraction (9 more teeth must be pulled) Joey can't eat without pain.

He has an autoimmune disorder that causes him to be allergic to his own teeth. Imagine living life like that!

The last time his teeth hurt he lost a half pound. We are worried about how much weight he will lose if he doesn't have these teeth removed as soon as possible.

What makes it even harder to afford this surgery is we are just weeks away from welcoming our first baby girl into the family.  We've exhausted our funds to help Joey and we are running out of time to get him in for the surgery before the baby comes.

Won't you help our poor Jo-Jo eat without pain again? We love him too much to give up on him.
