The family and friends of Vicki Hernandez are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against breast cancer. Please show your support

Our friend, Vicki Hernandez, was diagnosed with grade 3, stage IV, invasive breast cancer on May 10th of this year. She underwent a bilateral mastectomy and lymph node ectomy on May 24th. She came through the surgery well but they found more cancer in 12 in the 24 lymph nodes removed which means she will need chemotherapy and radiation treatment followed by many years of hormone therapy.
This is not Vicki's first time facing cancer. The first time was when she was a senior in High School. She had late stage Hodgkin’s Disease and underwent six months of chemotherapy and almost 2 months of radiation. That was 20 years ago. She is now a single mother to Sierra Jean (15), Cameron Michael (10), Olivia Grace (6) and her furry baby, Shanna the Shepherd. She is also a college student months away from receiving a master of arts degree in clinical counseling and psychotherapy at Adler Graduate School in Richfield, MN. She is unable to work at this time and is struggling to make ends meet as a now stay at home mother of three kids on summer break. Her oldest daughter, Sierra, has special needs and requires a great deal of energy, patience and supervision making it difficult for Vicki to get the rest she needs.
We are asking all those who view this story to help Vicki and her family through this unpredictable and scary time in their lives.

Thank you in advance for your compassion and grace for this amazing family.
