Therapy for my son with cerebral palsy!

When I was six months pregnant with my identical twin boys, we received some devastating news. My son, Sam, had died. Due to the fact that they shared a blood supply, my remaining son, James had suffered a stroke due to a lack of blood flow to his brain when his twin died. He would be severely affected. He would be blind, unable to move, fed only by a tube, and most likely lack much of a personality. I carried the twins until 36 weeks. That winter I buried one son, but my son James amazed us with his resiliency. He is visually impaired, but not blind. He eats by mouth and is supplemented by a tube feed at night. He has the funniest sense of humor, loves his siblings to the point of adoration, and has an infectious giggle.
James has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He has had physical therapy since he was barely home from the hospital and has had minimal results. From being in contact with other special needs parents all over the world, I learned of a different approach to therapy that they all swore by. I decided to give it a try. It is not covered by my insurance, and so we paid out of pocket. With the first visit, James began to roll over. He is able to stand and walk with me holding under his arms to keep him upright. I desperately want to continue this therapy. I have seen him do amazing things! I left the first visit in tears...because I felt hope. Hope that he will sit, play with toys, be able to call me "mom." Please help me be able to continue this. I want him to be able to reach his highest potential. He has taught me the meaning of courage, of patience, and of selfless love. Thank you for anything you can do.
