This January, I will be traveling to Jamaica with 20 other nursing students from Saint Anselm College to help abandoned children who are affected by HIV/AIDS, children who have disabilities, and pregnant/teenage mothers.

January 1 until January 8, 2010, I will be traveling to Montego Bay, Jamaica with 20 other nursing students from Saint Anselm College. What we will be doing is we will be helping abandoned children who have disabilities and diseases. Many of these children's parents have died or have left their children to live on their own. The generous people of the Mustard Seed Community ( have taken these innocent children under their wing and have given them a place to live and to grow.

What I will be doing is helping these children with their everyday activities. Myself, as well as the other student I am traveling with, will be helping them do the things that come so simply to us, but because many of these children have disabilites, they need a helping hand.

In order to travel to Jamaica and help these children, I need to raise an individual amount of $1,550. If you or your friends or family are interested in helping me to help these children, please donate any amount, large or small. It will all add up.

Thank you for your time and your generosity!
