After suffering a massive stroke at 47 years old, and with no surviving family or spouse except me, her son, I am struggling to provide my mom with the care that she needs. She is the world to me but I can\'t come up with the funds on my own to help.

Michelle Ann Bird is the best mother who ever lived! She is loving, accepting, and did everything for me, her son.

I'm not a rich person, so I can't afford to pay for her medicines, physical rehabilitation, and housing that she requires since her stroke. Medicaid and Social Security pay about $1000.00 less per month than she needs. Her doctors say she can walk again one day, but only with the best in rehabilitative care.

The money will be spent to buy her an accessible bed that she can get in and out of independently without falling off of it, to pay for her medications, to buy her household utensils that she can easily handle, and to help pay her rent since she is on a fixed income. Once I am finished with college, i will be in a much better place to care for her!

That is what I am asking for. Surely someone has it in their heart to donate a little to this amazing woman, who dedicated her working days to helping the mentally disabled, and volunteering a large portion of her time to the Salvation Army.

Please help my mom. It saddens me that I can't do it on my own. In all honesty, I believe my prayers led me to this web site.

God bless, and I thank you in advance for your help!
