The humans who live with canine Cesar Fisher are trying to raise enough money to repair his knees so he can once again chase squirrels.

Cesar (or Cesario to his friends) is a Chihuaha/Min Pin cross who has two luxating patellas. He has had a tough start in life, found tied to a chain weighing as much as he did and dragging it through six lanes of early morning traffic he had given up and was lying exhausted in the road. We picked him up and gave him a lovely family life.

He weighed three pounds, had no tail and his nails were worn down to nothing. He was dehydrated and had crystals in his urine. He didn't know what dog food was, and freaked out each time anyone tried to pet him. He is scared of feet and doors, but we love him anyway.

Now he is having trouble jumping and walking seems painful, we will start him on some physio. But it seems as if the operation is only a matter of time away. The operation is very expensive and we can't afford it, please help Cesar back to his normal, silly, funny, adorable, naughty self!
