Help Andy, Heather, and Harrison Miller adopt a new member of the Miller family. Ever since Andy was diagnosed with testicular cancer at 16, his life, and the life of his family, were changed forever.

Some people run the race of cancer just to get to the finish line of remission. Others run this terrifying race, fight hard, cross the remission line and yet in the end are left with unforeseen hurdles to overcome for the rest of their lives.

Andy Miller was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the young age of 16. Due to the severity of his cancer how rapid it had already spread throughout his body, emergency surgery was done the same night he was diagnosed. Andy had begun his race. After four rounds of chemotherapy and two surgeries, by the grace of God, Andy finished his race and crossed the remission line.

Eight years later he married his wife Heather and just like most couples they wanted to start a family. However they soon realized that cancer had left them with a major hurdle to overcome. Due to all of the chemo treatment and surgeries they soon discovered that cancer had left Andy infertile.

After many, many tests doctors told them that it would be a miracle if they conceived children and the only way to have children would be through in vitro fertilization along with a procedure called ICSI, the procedure itself would cost upwards of $10-$15 thousand dollars. Because their insurance provider does not cover any infertility treatments this would be a direct out of pocket expense for them. After prayerful consideration, and loans taken out, Andy and Heather decided to try this procedure and they were blessed with their little miracle, Harrison Walter.

Now, six years later they hope to grow their family, but again face this financial hurdle. The cost of infertility treatments or adoption, whichever one they choose, is a great race to fight.

Andy and Heather have a passion for children which have always been at the center of their lives. He was a youth pastor for 11 years and she is a preschool teacher going on her sixth year. They hope to put all that passion toward their own family someday.

We would love for you to join us and our efforts to financially help them grow their family and over come this Hurdle of Hope that cancer has left in their path.
