We are trying to raise money to help pay for Jacquelyn Spencer's critically necessary liver transplant. Please help her.

Jacquelyn was born and raised in Waco, Texas. At Robinson High School, she met and fell in love with Luke Spencer, "the most humble Christian man" she'd ever known.

Jacquelyn was perfectly healthy (or so she thought), and she and Luke looked forward to a life full of joy and love. However, for years, she had been plagued by a constant itching. And while her pediatrician said that she was in perfect health, she had a nagging feeling that something was very wrong. After a plethora of testing, her new doctor gave her the dreaded news that not only was she very sick with a rare, autoimmune liver disease (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis), but that this disease was also terminal.

Jacquelyn says, "The best advice I was ever given came from my liver doctor (of now 21 years) ~ it was to go ahead and live our lives, say a lot of prayers and let the doctors work the disease around it."

Jacquelyn and Luke were married in 1992 and against all odds, they decided to start a family since they knew that a liver transplant would be necessary in the near future. Even though there had never been a documented case of a PSC patient that carried a pregnancy to term, they were so blessed that during the pregnancy, Jacquelyn's liver numbers actually returned to "normal." And while her OB/Gyn doctor wanted to "chalk it up as luck," they knew that God was behind it, and in October of 1994, they were blessed with a gorgeous baby girl - Courtney Anne.

With her liver failing rapidly, Jacquelyn and Luke decided to try for one more baby. "God blessed us immediately with another PSC gone into remission, giving us a precious son, Calvin Thomas in March of 1997."

It was then that the doctors discovered that the remission was the result of the baby's liver functioning for hers. Simply amazing!

Jacquelyn's first liver transplant took place in April of 1999. But as much as they hoped and prayed that the PSC was gone forever, it came back with a vengeance, eventually leading to Jacquelyn becoming very ill and requiring a second liver transplant in October 2005.

Sadly, since the disease has come back again, Jacquelyn has been the sickest she's ever been in all her life. Her doctors have tried chemo all throughout 2011 to no avail. And now, due to her extremely high numbers discovered with recent lab work, she is at the top of the transplant list and anxious to see what God has in store for her family with this third liver transplant. Could this be the end of her medical troubles?

"Our faith is our life. God has carried me this far and I believe that He has brought me to this place for our larger than life testimony to be shared throughout the world. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't scared about this upcoming risky surgery; however, deep in my heart, I really don't think that God would have brought me this far to let me go now."

Please join Jacquelyn, her family, and her friends in fervent prayer as the "call" for this third transplant could come at any moment.

And if you are able to assist us by donating toward the family's continually mounting medical bills, especially the cost of this next liver transplant, we would be humbled and grateful for any assistance.
