This was created in order to raise money for my mothers Lymphoma Stem Cell Transplant, so that she can focus her energy on getting better!

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to checkout this site. My name is Chris Mahoney and my mother is battling Lymphoma for the third time. I would like to raise money to pay for my mothers medical cost so that she can focus her energy on getting better.

Here is her story:

15 years ago my mother was diagnosed with Lymphoma. While raising 6 boys with a full time job she beat cancer without missing a beat. Not only is my mother my hero, she is my best friend. Last year against all odds she was diagnosed with a recurrence of Lymphoma in the same area she had 15 years ago. She went through six long months of chemotherapy just to have the cancer come back a few months later. She has had three different opinions on her next treatment. All of which require a stem cell transplant. She was lucky enough for NIH to take her case and pay for all her medical treatment but now isn't qualified because her sibling’s stem cells do not match. Now she is faced with looking for a donor from her 3 biological children. While the chances of me and my brother matching are high, she must go else where for treatment. This means she is going to incur what could be significant medical cost. I would like to take this worry off my mom’s shoulders so she can focus on one thing, getting better! I know my mom wouldn't ever ask for money, so I would like to do this for her. Any donations over and beyond her medical cost will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Some people have asked me if this site accepts checks. They do not but if you rather send a check, please contact me at I also have a paypal account if you would like to use your bank account information instead.
