Helping find homes for animals in immediate need. Also helping pay for urgent vet care when owners are unable to pay.

Late last year, a local animal shelter euthanized 23 shelter cats due to a ringworm outbreak. The dogs in the shelter, thankfully were spared such a fate.

I, along with many other concerned citizens became painfully aware that cats often are the 'throw away' animals in the pet world and now want to do something about it!

We are starting small. Our goal is to have the funds to take in cats that need immediate homes, and to offer foster care to cats and kittens, keeping them out of the local shelter.

We would like to eventually be a non-profit, but right now are simply working on finances to help pay for food, vet care, low-cost spay and neuter and shots for cats and kitten in immediate need.

On occasion, funds will also be used to help pay for vet care if a pet owner can not afford it, and maybe even food if will help keep a pet in its home during financial hardship.

Foreclosures have also been at the root of many animals becoming homeless. We will help as many animals as possible. Just need to funds to do it right!
If we meet the full goal, we will rent a place to start a sanctuary to help even more cats!
