The family and friends of Chace Johnson are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against cancer. Please show your support!

For those that don't know, Chace Johnson was diagnosed with colon cancer in October 2011 and has been undergoing treatment since that time. To get a better idea of what Chace has gone through over the past year, and to receive further updates, please visit his CaringBridge site: . As always, please keep him in your prayers.

A group of us in Minneapolis recently formed a Movember team, "Dusters for Deuces," a reference to Chace's hockey number, 22, and plan to grow moustaches for the month of November. Much like our impending facial hair, we are looking to grow our team and would like to enlist your services. Our plan is simple: Grow a moustache for a month, get sponsors to support our moustache growth, and donate the proceeds to help offset Chace's rising medical costs. Can't grow a moustache? Not a problem--all we ask is that you forward this link to anyone you think might be interested in donating either their upper lip for a month, or a few dollars to support Chace.

Donations can be made through our team site at, where money can be donated DIRECTLY to Chace to help cover his increasing medical expenses. is a donation site specifically designed for fundraising efforts related to medical expenses. We gladly accept and greatly appreciate any type of donation; whether it be a few dollars, a few minutes of your time to send this email to others, or a whole month of distinguished moustachery. Please register and check back throughout the month as we will continuously update our page with pictures of our team's moustache progress, as well as a running total of your generous donations.

Thank you for in advance for your participation in our mission to help our friend during his battle. While it is just a moustache to the participants, all of the love and support means so much more to Chace and his family. Please direct any donation questions to Kevin Lied or Mark Peterson Thanks again and happy growing!
