Please support me as I travel to Haiti with the Poverty Resolutions Team to help build a school at an orphanage at Port-au-Prince.

In March of 2008, I traveled abroad to South Africa with a group of MBA and Law students for a service-learning project. I participated in a book drive to raise books for children in South Africa to provide their empty new library with knowledge. This trip has inspired me to travel the world and touch the lives of others by lending a helping hand to those who need it most.

I have been given the opportunity to travel with the Poverty Resolutions Team from July 8 - July 15 on a mission trip experience. I will be visiting an orphanage located in Montrouis, Haiti, called House of Hope. It is here where I will help many children in need.

In May 2012, I will be graduating from Fordham Graduate School of Social Work. I cannot afford this trip on my own, therefore your contributions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to help me empower others.

Below I have attached a brief description of Poverty Resolutions. You can also "like" their page on Facebook to spread the word.
Poverty Resolutions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to identifying and fulfilling the needs of Haitian orphans in order to improve the future of Haiti. By working with partner organizations on the ground to provide sustainable solutions for Haiti’s most vulnerable population, we help combat dollar-a-day poverty. To further our mission, we educate Americans to increase awareness of global poverty and to inspire them to act.
