The Lambda Delta chapter of Chi Omega will be raising money for Delta Zeta's Lip Sync 2010 competition at Kent State University. This annual competition is between the fraternity men and sorority women of Kent State's campus. It is a lip syncing and dancing competition as well as a fundraising competition. The proceeds of the fundraising will go to the Delta Zeta Foundation which aids Delta Zeta's philanthropy of the hearing and speech impaired as well as the Painted Turtle Camp. The Painted Turtle Camp is a life-changing opportunity for children with chronic and life threatening diseases. The cause for speech and hearing impaired is contributed to through several methods. These include The Starkey Hearing Foundation, House Ear Institutes, Gallaudet University which is a school where students that have hearing and speech impairments attend, and Sound Beginnings which allocates funds to parents of newborn babies who did not pass their initial hearing screening tests. This is a great opportunity to help out in a much needed area. Checks can be made payable to the Delta Zeta Sorority. Support Chi Omega by helping them raise money for Delta Zeta!
