This fund is to help Brayden get a wheelchair accessible van to help him and the family get around. Please help support our little miracle!

Brayden was born Aug 27 2010 at 28 weeks gestation (12 weeks early). He spent 5.5 months in the hospital with major complications. He survived meningitis (3x), sepsis (2x), seizures, grade III/IV brain bleed, and five brain surgeries.
Brayden is a true miracle and the most amazing example of the will to live and the joy for life. He is now a feisty, happy, two year old. B may have survived the impossible but it did leave him with lasting effects and disabilities. He has had significant brain matter loss due to the bleed and meningitis. A VP Shunt helps with the hydrocephalus (water on the brain). He has been on seizure meds since one week old for epilepsy. At 17 months old we found out he had Nueromuscular Scoliosis from low muscle tone. At 19 months old he was given an overall diagnosis of Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. CP is an umbrella term for a condition that essentially means “his brain keeps his muscles from working the way they’re designed”. When B was 21 months old we had a G Tube (feeding tube) placed to help him get all the nutrients and meds he needs.
Essentially he is an infant living in a two year old body. Brayden works hard with therapists to gain strength and learn skills. He makes small improvements all the time and is such a little fighter. He has such a determination for life. His disabilities make it harder to care for Brayden and even harder to keep him mobile. He now has a wheelchair to help him get around and we are hoping to get B a wheelchair accessible van. We want Brayden to be able to travel and get around with ease. A van would allow us to have freedom of mobility with B and make our life much easier raising a special needs child. Please help us reach our goal to get Brayden a van.
