The family and friends of Byron and Sandy Glotzbach are uniting to raise money to help with medical expenses. Please show your support!

I want to tell you about my best friend. It all started with simply itching all over. Thinking she had an allergy to food. It went on for 3 months until a doctor took just the right blood test needed. It was the worst news she could have possibly imagined...she had Stage 4 Bio-duct Liver Cancer and they gave her 6 weeks to live. As you can imagine, their emotions were out of control, talking to anybody that could help. Through a gift of God, they found a doctor in Kentucky that was the only one willing to take her and try to help. He did surgery and took out 75% of her liver, and remains cancer-free from this. AWESOME!!! Just at the 2 year celebration mark of being cancer-free, they discover she now has the same fast growing cancer in her lungs! One of her worst fears. She has several large nodules and many smaller ones all over her lungs. They started chemo immediately and all they could do is watch....and wait. The good news is that the chemo seemed to keep them at bay. This past summer they attempted to stop chemo and watch and wait. Hoping that if there were no growth, she could be a candidate for surgery, and be saved from this evil. This past month, she found out that surgery is not possible. The chemo is the only thing keeping these nodules from growing, and she will be on it for the rest of her life. Problem....she is becoming allergic to her final dosing chemo option. We don't know how long she will be able to stay on it, and there is nothing left to help her. If anyone has a loved one that has ever been on chemo, they understand what she is going through. She gets it on Monday, feeling nautious by the time she leaves, getting worse throughout the next few days. No energy and cannot sleep, amongst many other symptoms. She seems to have solice in talking and enjoying this time with her newfound friends also receiving chemo. She is a magnet to people and she makes friends easily. Unfortunately, she will come back for her next round of chemo and find that another one of her new friends has lost their battle to cancer, and wonders if she is next! No one should have to go through this, especially someone you love. But she is not the only one going through this. My Dad is going through his own hell. He will go to the ends of the earth to make sure she is getting all the treatment he can find for her, and making sure she is happy and taking her to places so that she can be happy, and enjoy what life she has left. Meanwhile, he is self-employed and trying to make a living while making it to her every appointment and need. He is an absolute saint, and they have both become much closer to God because of this. To add to this horrible ordeal, my Sister has been going through some awful situations and they are having to support her. Paying not only for their own medical bills, and house payments and equipment...but now paying for Tracy's medical bills, car payments, etc.. You see, Tracy just got into a car accident 2 days ago, not of her doing, she was just a passenger. She is now laid up in a hospital with a breathing tube, rods in both her legs, bruised lungs, has already has surgery to take out her spleen and control bleeding of one of her ovaries. She is due to go back into surgery tomorrow to get rods put into both of her legs, and we are hoping she will come out of this OK. So, please, even though giving the gift of food and flowers are wonderful, please consider giving on-line instead for the gift of financial stability. I am hoping that this will aid in my family getting better without the strain of worrying how to pay the next medical bill. I am hoping that by doing this fundraiser website that I will be able to reach more people from all over. I will keep this updated with pictures and information as I get it. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support. Lovingly, Susan (Glotzbach) Lintz (Daughter/Sister)
