The family and friends of Sheila Hamed are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against Leukemia. Please show your support!
Sheila is a strong, beautiful, inspiring woman who has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. She is 34 years old, lives in San Diego, and was about to start nursing school when she was abruptly taken to the hospital with extreme pain that was unexplainable. After a simple blood test..there was no question. She had Leukemia. She was immediately transferred to the ICU. She was in agony and it wasn't pretty.
After being hospitalized for over two months and three series of chemotherapy, she has been released temporarily from the hospital until an appropriate bone marrow donor is found. She still goes back to the hospital everyday to get blood transfusions since her body cant make enough good red & white blood cells while the search for a bone marrow donor continues.
Sheila has an amazing spirit and a positive outlook in life. She has always been the girl who takes care of others. People who know her know what I am talking about. She always extends a helping hand to anyone in need..but now she needs your help! She needs us to take care of her until she can stand strong again.
She has a fighting soul and is determined to fight this disease and regain her life back.
As you may imagine, treatments such as chemotherapy, pain meds, and especially bone marrow transplants are not something people save up for. Her battle is not over yet. Not only does she need your emotional support, but she now is in need of financial support.
Anything can help!
If you can help... I thank you. If you cant....I still thank you.
After all, this battle requires support. All types of support are greatly appreciated.
