Trying to help our Senior Citizen Mum to be able to live in her home and not have to battle what should be her retirement years thank you.

My "Mum" is a very LOVING, GENEROUS, RELIGIOUS, CARING, COMPASSIONATE human being. I want to help my mum so much. She is a HARD-working SENIOR CITIZEN trying to keep a roof over her head, who has tried to do everything she could to prevent losing her "DREAM HOME" in a small Oregon town called Molalla. She tried to qualify for a reverse mortgage and they told her she needed $65K (if she had $65K, she wouldn't need to reverse mortgage). She tried desperately to MODIFY her MORTGAGE and the banks DENIED her....and we still can not understand WHY and can't seem to get any answers. As you read this, Mum is still trying to get any Nursing shifts available to her, all in effort to keep from losing her home. She has had a lot of hardships in her life; abusive husbands, helping her eldest son get through cancer and helping one of her daughters through a devastating rape, in which the rapist almost shot my sister to death. My siblings and I wish we could help Mum more; but find ourselves affected by the economy and live pay check to pay check, if one at all. We live too far away to help her on a daily basis, and not allow financial organizations to take advantage of her further. I was directed to this website by a friend and I figure if 15,000 people even gave a dollar each, it would help my mum. I speak for my family when I say that we would be most grateful as the banks will close my mum’s house by October 10th, 2012, 5:00pm. This is the deadline to rescue her home. The reason I am just now writing this plea is because I just found out this information this past week from my mum. She has never ASKed or BOTHERed anyone with her issues- she has continuously tried to handle it herself & believes that "God must have a different plan for me". I don't know what God’s plan is for her; but, I have been in tears and just don't know how it could be anything good if your mum that has, and still is, working so hard to help herself and never asks for anything. On her 75th birthday, she realized that she was going to lose her home. At 75 year’s old, Mum still has to work and stress so much in a time that she should be relaxed and retired, and finally enjoy her life as reward for all her giving years. I love my mum so much and want to help her and would be so thankful to anyone that donates to help her save her life’s dream home. Thank you for reading; I know there are a lot of people in this world that need this kind of help too. P.S. If we can not save mum then we will donate the money to her moving cost. Thank you again.
