Cowboy has been diagnosed with life threatening Urinary Calculi also known as bladder stones, both in his bladder and urethra.

After noticing that Cowboy was having difficulty urinating and after two different veterinary hospital visits, the decision had to be made, he needs a cystotomy! Without a cystotomy, the bladder blockage could cause fatal pressure to Cowboy's heart within days. A cystotomy is a surgical procedure in which an incision is made (off to one side of the penis) into the urinary bladder to facilitate the removal of stones in the bladder and urethra. The procedure itself has relatively few complications; however he must undergo surgery within the next 48 hours. This will include medical procedures, general anesthesia, pain management, and over-night post surgery observation.

This has happened so unexpectedly, that my personal funds can not cover the medical expenses. Without the surgery, we were told that we would have to euthanize Cowboy! Letting Cowboy die is not an option, as he will live a long happy life with this procedure.

Your kind donation will be used to pay for Cowboy’s medical expenses.

All of your generous contributions, thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated!! I need my friends and family support more than ever.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart
