All contributions are greatly appreciated! The funds will be used to cover the emergency vet service bill for Billy's broken leg.

My dog Billy fractured his leg this week trying to climb over a fence. I took him to Woodland Vet Hospital for emergency services and cannot pay the bill in full to get Billy released and bring him home. The bill is now $460 and growing as I am being charged an additional $55 per day for boarding services until I can pay the bill in full. This vet will not work with patients to arrange any kind of payment plan and requires payment in full to release your pet. I recently lost my house to foreclosure and am completely broke, partly due to my boyfriend/fiance who turned out to be a professional con and left as soon as the house was sold and my resources were depleted. I am unable to cover the cost of this unbudgeted emergency situation. I am temporarily living out of a garage, housing most of my dogs at a friends in kennels, trying to sell off the vehicles I own, pay my storage fees so I can get access to my belongings and then sell most of my furniture and possessions to gather as much cash together as I can to start my life over after a very unfortunate and unanticipated set of circumstances. If anyone is willing and able to make a contribution today to help Billy out and bring him home my dogs and I would greatly appreciate it. Billy will need to have his leg amputated and we are making arrangements to have this done at an alternate vet in Sacramento or at UCDavis where the cost will be about 1/3 the cost of what many vet hospitals charge for the same service. We will address that surgery at a later date when I'm back on my feet and can afford it without asking for assistance from anyone. Any excess contributions collected will be used to buy dog food which has been hard to come by, and other costs associated with the dogs, many of which were casualties of previous foreclosures when they came to us and others that are deemed "unadoptable".
