Support Joseph Stike during this stressful time in his recovery. The funds will be used for Joe's medical costs not covered by insurance.

My best friend in the world, Joseph Stike, has a rare congenital disorder called Dyskeratosis Congenita. This disorder resembles premature aging. The disease mainly affects the organ system that protects the body from damage, with a major consequence being anomalies of the bone marrow. People with dyskeratosis congenital are especially vulnerable to impairment of bone marrow failure and are also at higher than average risks for myelodysplastic syndrome which may progress to a form of blood cancer called leukemia. In addition, they also have higher risks of developing other cancers.

Joseph had a Bone Marrow Transplant at Minnesota University Hospital in August. He is in the process of recovery and will need to spend the next 3-4 months in Minnesota. With that said, medical expenses for the family will be a burden and each and ever small donation will help our their family tremendously. Please consider making a donation today.
