Micheline Lobdell's Pulmonary Sarcoidosis treatment fund
Micheline's family and friends are working together to help raise money to cover the costs of treating her Pulmonary Sarcoidosis.
A little about Micheline and her health problem. Micheline Lobdell is a devoted wife and mother. She has four grand children who adore her and missed her very much while she was in and out of the hospital three times since June 2nd, 2013. Micheline has worked in Hotel management for 30+ years, always covered by health insurance through the company she was working for. She assumed the same would be true when she started her current job. It turned out not to be the case and she was left without health care. After the first scare in June of 2013 she tried unsuccessfully to obtain health insurance through AARP. Then two more trips to the ER and subsequent stays of three and five days with test after test to rule things out and help identify what was causing the problems. After a biopsy it was determined that she has Pulmonary Sarcoidosis. The Mayo Clinic says "Sarcoidosis is the growth of tiny collections of inflammatory cells in different parts of your body most commonly the lungs, lymph nodes, eyes and skin. Doctors believe sarcoidosis results from the body's immune system responding to an unknown substance, most likely something inhaled from the air. There is no known cause or cure for sarcoidosis." As you can imagine, after three stays in the hospital we are overwhelmed, although thankful for the treatment provided. We have always managed to find a way to pay our bills and we fully intend to find a way to pay these as well and any help is greatly appreciated.
After suffering through the physical trauma of the Pulmonary Sarcoidosis we are discovering that the mental and emotional distress of the mounting bills is equally draining and this additional stress keeps Micheline in a weakened state. The opportunity giveforward.com offersis amazing. The challenges is getting the word out to enough people. 86,000 people helping with a $1.00 contribution can help as much as 86 people helping with a $1,000 contribution. By sharing the link to Micheline's fundraiser www.helpmich.com you are helping as much as making a financial contribution. Together we can help Micheline get back on her feet and any help, whether financial or simply by spreading the word is greatly appreciated.
