Please help in celebrating Eilene's life. The funds will be used for her funeral and related expenses.

Many of us have known Eilene since forever, so it goes without saying that she is loved very dearly by us all. For those who have yet to be inspired by her....
In May 2006, Eilene had her left kidney removed due to Adrenal Cordial Carcinoma. She began the first of 6 cycles of chemo the following month. After the 5th round of chemo, she suffered a neurological disorder - for 72 hours, she didn't know her name or birthdate, nor was she able to recognize any of her family members. She was given medication to reverse this disorder, but the medication damaged her right kidney. After completing the 6 cycles of chemo, she began the lifelong dialysis treatments in March 2007. Between 2007 and 2009, Eilene was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, LMS (leiomyosarcoma.) In 2009, the LMS spread to her liver, which also caused subcutaneous tumors on her body. The doctors removed the cancerous part of her iiver and she continued with her chemo, radiation, and dialysis treatments. Further scans and tests revealed that although the LMS was still in place, it was moving slowly. She remained hopeful and persevered.
In April 2012, Eilene fractured the left side of her hip, which required surgery to insert plates and screws. Scans and tests done during this hospitalization, revealed that the LMS has spread to her lungs, and there is little that the doctors can do now except to make her comfortable. Eilene is now in the process of making final arrangements for hospice care at home.
Eilene has been raising her grandson for the past 10 years. Her husband of 32 years, Brian, continues to work hard to support his family. Eilene is very worried knowing that they're not able to afford a funeral for her.
She is a miracle that happened to this world and a goddess in my eyes. Please find it in your hearts to help ease the financial burden on her and her family in this their time of need.
All funds will go toward fulfilling Eilene's final wishes for her funeral, with any remaining funds going toward providing her family with much needed financial assistance during the transition.
