The family and friends of Dan Boettcher are praying for a miracle!

Uncle Dan lost his leg on New Years Eve. He is a loving husband and father who was self-employed in the tree service business. This was his families' only income. Dan had been working with a stump grinder while removing trees for a local customer. Unfortunately, in the icy conditions, he slipped and his leg was pulled inside the stump grinder. He was able to pull his leg out just before his knee was damaged. He was rushed to the hospital in excruciating pain.

Uncle Dan spent a few days in the hospital as the doctors attempted to save his leg. However, his leg was so badly damaged, that it had to be amputated just below the knee. He and his family prayed and ultimately decided that there was no other choice. He was told that he would need to have a prosthetic leg. To make matters worse, being a self-employed man made private insurance very expensive. The insurance company will not cover a suitable prosthetic for him. A prosthetic leg would cost $4000. Getting this prosthetic leg would give him the opportunity to get back to his job to support his family.

The mounting medical bills and worry of getting a good prosthetic are worries we would like to take away from him and his family! Thank you all for your donations (every little bit helps), support, and prayers. We do believe in miracles and we pray for one each day.

God Bless all.
