HIS LIFE'S DREAMS KILLED BY THE SILENT BUT DEADLY DISEASE

Please allow me to introduce to you my nephew, Luis Medeiros. He is the kindest, most generous, young man, we know and love. Luis is a father to a seven year old girl named Zoie.   On September 23, 2012 Luis was dignosed with terminal stomach cancer, which has since metastasized to his esophosas and spine. Luis has been plagued with such travesties throughout his life, but has always been positive, loving and caring. As a child, Luis lost his farther to cancer. Luis's mother drove two hours each way, each day, to work just to put food on the table. Luis is an only child, but is a hero to all of his cousins, my boys, my daughter and their cousins.  When Luis was thirteen, he and his mom lost their life belongings to a fire.  I can still recall that day, so clearly, as if it were yesterday.  On Friday, his mom Theresa had just been laid off of a job, in which she had held for over 10 years. On Saturday,  Theresa took Luis to see his grandmother. Not but three hours later the phone rings, it's Theresa's landlord and he says "Theresa the house has burnt down, nothing is left". I remember looking towards her, and seeing her face turn to a pale white color, as her body shook, and tears ran down her face. Theresa is in total shock. She had just lost her job,  now her entire life. There was no apartment insurance. Luis and his mom were left, with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They worked long and hard to rebuild what little they had.  Luis now has a family of his own. At the age of thirty two, he decided that it was time to do what he had always dreamed of. This was to have a loving family, some of the things his mom was unable to give him and move away and start a new life with his new family. Luis was offered a job as a manager and moved his family to South Carolina. Luis is now thirty seven, in five years he was able to purchase a home, give his family some things, not all, but always lots of love. On September 23, 2012, Luis was given two months to live, if he does not receive the proper treatments. This silent by deadly disease has already confined him to a wheel chair and only on the days that he can find the strength to get out of bed. He suffers with such excruciating pain, but he trys with every thing he has to be strong, for Zoie. Please donate to this worthy cause and help Luis receive a fighting chance for life, for his dream and for Zoie.
