This fund is to help offset the enormous costs associated with Cian's medical procedures.

Siblings, Cian, 6 & Kaelan, 4 years old were diagnosed with a serious brain disorder called Chiari Malformation.

The brain [cerebellar tonsils] is being forced out of [bottom of] the skull blocking necessary spinal fluid flow to the brain & forcing it into the core of the spinal cord, putting pressure on both the brainstem and spinal cord which leads to brainstem damage and scarring of the spinal cord and possible paralysis.

The children experience daily symptoms of excruciating pain in the head, neck, back and extremities. In Cian's case, the syrinx in his cord has already begun & he suffers developmental damage due to the pressure which caused his brainstem to twist. Kaelan trails closely behind in severity.

Without surgery, Cian & Kaelans' prognosis is grim. Decompression brain surgery will alleviate the pressure on the spine and allow the cerebellum to rest safely within their skulls where it should be. Your generosity will give them a hope for a better quality of life.

Cian has been scheduled for this life saving procedure! His Brain Decompression Surgery date is June 24th. He will travel with his family on June 21st to UCLA. Please keep Cian and his family in your prayers.

The costs associated with this surgery are enormous. Cian's parents, Cortney and Ronnie, will need to stay with their son in the days following the surgery. Please consider donating to help Cian and his family through this very difficult time.
