Cancer sucks but with the help of God, my family and friends I win. Please help me in my fight by donating to my fundraiser. Thank You!

Hello Everyone again! And welcome to my new fundraiser. By donating money here you are helping me to pay for medical supplies, healthy raw green diet that I need to maintain in order to fight more effectively, my medical housing and gas. You might not even know it but you are blessing me greatly. It's such a relief to know that you all care.

Latest Update: I finally got to MD Anderson Cancer Center and I'm their patient!!!! I have an awesome GI oncology team working on my case! Praise God! He promised and He did! God is so good!

Right now I have IP catheter on the right side of my belly to drain the belly fluid, I have a Denver catheter in my right lung to drain the lung fluid, I have a Central Venous Catheter (CVC) on my upper right chest for chemo, CT scans and blood labs (in case my port doesnt work). I've been through a lot for almost a year and God brought me through all this! With my husband Joey beside me. With my family and friends on my side. With an amazing team of doctors and nurses working with me... I'm so blessed! Very grateful because there are a lot of things to be grateful for.

I want to thank Sue Patterson and St. John's Episcopal Church for giving her car to us to use while we are here, and their constant prayers and financial support. I want to thank my angel guardians Lois and Charly Reiter for paying for our housing and for their constant support and love and being there for us always. I want to thank all my family and friends for their constant prayers and financial sacrifice! I want to thank people at Cornerstone Baptist Church and Dutton Sreet Mission for their prayers! Thank you all so much! And thank you to all of you who have given to my fundraiser, for gift cards and groceries, all of this is such a blessing!

I received my first dose of chemo (3 chemo drugs every 2 weeks) which went good. Side effects: just a little nausea and diarrhea, and some tiredness. My second chemo gave me more of the chemo sickness that lasted for 1.5 weeks - diarrhea, nausea, vomiting. I haven't been able to eat for 3 days but now I'm fine and eating better. My third chemo will be on October 5th. Wish me luck!

Right now we live in a temporary home - Faith House (belongs to Faith Lutheran Church community). How we got here was a miracle itself! God works in mysterious ways. We were #86 on a waiting list. One day lady called all 85 people and none of them picked up their phones. Then she called Emily (my friend who was helping us with finding a place) and Emily picked up her phone. Praise God! To Him I give all the glory! Everything and everyone here is nice, there are 6 patients with caregivers living in this house currently. Both Joey and I very grateful. Remember, God is always there, no matter what.

Also I started doing some jewelry crafts and knitting. I'm making cross necklaces, bracelets, key chains, etc. I accept orders for knitting baby blankets, baby booties and winter scarves which make a god present :) Email me at altynay86@gmail.com for orders, prices and mailing stuff. Will post some pictures here and on my Facebook.

As grateful as we are, the needs keep on appearing in our lives, and without your continued financial support we would not be here receiving the best treatment.

Thank you all for your prayers. I will keep you posted about how everything is going on my facebook https://www.facebook.com/altynaymcfarland Thank you all again for helping Joey and I out! Love, Altynay HappyPanda McFarland
