The friends of Glenn Lightner are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against brain cancer. Funds will be used for medical costs.

Glenn is a 13 year old Long Valley Middle School student who loves to play football and basketball with his younger brother, Karl, and friends.

Unfortunately, Glenn has been fighting anaplastic ependymoma Grade III brain cancer since first being diagnosed at the age of 8. He has undergone several surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments at St.Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee.
Recently, his family received the devastating news that the cancer returned yet again and had grown considerably. On March 5th, 2012, Glenn and his parents returned to St. Jude for Glenn to undergo surgery to remove the growth.

On March 24th, Glenn and his parents left for Belgium to receive treatment there for at least six weeks. The cost of the treatment and lodging is estimated over $100,000, costing $12,000-$16,000. per week for Glenn's treatment alone. Insurance is not covering this, leaving his parents to fully bear the extraordinary financial costs. Glenn's parents are drained both emotionally and financially.

We hope that you will join us in helping the Lightners through this extremely difficult time---any donation you make will help ease the burden for the Lightners.
