Chance and his 3 rescued pitty siblings, Abby, Smokey and Dexter hope you will unite with us to raise the deductible needed for his care...

I rescued Chance when he was 5 weeks old with intent to foster him and find him a home. 3 1/2yrs later and he is still with me and will remain with me.
When I rescued him he was sick, had mange but through time he got better. He is a shy but very sweet boy and he means the world to me.

Up until recently he has been my healthy one. Sadly a few months ago while at the beach he started limping--I took him to the vet and it was determined he had a partial tear. Now his left leg has a full cruciate ligament tear. This morning--Sunday April 10th he came in from using the restroom and wasn't putting any weight on his right leg, when he sits he holds both of his back paws off the ground.

Last week a joint tap was done to see if he had any type of joint disease. He doesn't and it has been determined it is strictly from injury.

It is now determined that Chance has two torn acl's. He is now scheduled for his first surgery on April 19th 2011.
The total for both acl's which will be staged is between $6600.00-$7,000.00. Chance has insurance which will cover quite a bit of the surgeries through Trupanion.

However, the deductible in which I need to raise is $1,000.00. It's another unexpected cost that I wasnt expecting to hit so soon after all of Abby's treatments.

Please donate if possible--EVERY $ adds up and I really need help to help my boy out.

His favorite thing in the world is spending time with me, going to the beach and swimming and window surfing on drives. I have to get the surgeries done prior to relocating to San Antonio, TX because I know this surgeon is one of the best and I trust her completely..
