Mr. Cheese, a 2 year old Himalayan cat, has serious urinary blockage. We need your help to keep him alive and healthy!

Our two year old kitty, Mr. Cheese, recently became ill when his urinary tract became blocked. He most likely has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) which is a serious and potentially reoccurring disease.

Mr. Cheese is quite possibly the most loving and entertaining cat ever. He can do tricks like stand on his back legs, twirl in circles, lay on your neck like a scarf, and climb up AND down ladders. He has never been mean to anyone and frequently tries to give kisses on your nose if you let him.

This has been especially hard for us, because Mr. Cheese's dad, Herkimer, had to be euthanized as a result of FLUTD that was not detected early enough. Because of that painful experience, we were able to treat Mr. Cheese in time to save him. Luckily, we live in Ithaca NY near the Cornell Vet Hospital and we were able to get Mr. Cheese the emergency treatment he needed in time. We decided to move ahead with expensive procedures to save our little buddy. Unfortunately, this disease is often reoccurring and we could face another episode of blockage in the future.

We have six months to pay off the vet and could really use some help. My husband and I both work at non-profit organizations and have low household income and we want to be able to take good care of our wonderful cat. Please consider donating to help Mr. Cheese stay alive and healthy.
