Please help this kitty!! The funds will go towards the specialty surgery to save her little paw (her whole front left leg).

My 2.5-month-old kitten, Luna, has a fracture on a growth plate on her elbow, for which the only thing that can be done is surgery. If this procedure is not done, she will lose the use of her little leg. Left untreated, some animals start chewing away at their unusable limbs, which causes infection and leads to amputation.

I rescued this kitten when she was about 3 weeks old, I bottle fed her and her brother Cosmo. Not only is Luna suffering right now, but so is Cosmo since they are always together and we have to keep her in a quiet place, away from her brother right now. Due to the high cost of the specialized surgery I looked for a more affordable veterinary hospital, and after contacting many animal clinics and hospitals, including the UC Davis vet school, I was not able to find anything more affordable. I also tried calling shelters, foundations, organizations to try to get financial help, to no avail.

I finished school this month and do not have a job yet, and I do not want to have these two kittens suffer because of my financial situation. I hate asking for money, but for any of you who have pets and would hate to see them in this situation, I ask for your help, because I would like to offer this kitten a long happy life where she will be able to play and live, as a kitten should.
