After a six month battle in the hospital, Mike showed us just how strong he is. He will most likely attribute his strength to being Airborne

Hey everyone, Good Morning. I have an issue that needs everyone's attention. My name is Andrew and I'm one of the managers at the Sniperco retail store in Fort Wayne, IN. A few months ago I hired Mike Nelson. Mike, as many of you can relate, is a brother from another mother. We served many years together starting out as Pig gunners and eventually serving as Infantry squad leaders together in OIF 1 in 2003. Last year Mike was let go after 18 years of loyalty with a company after he started having seizures associated with our time in the sandbox. About two months later he was hospitalized and his wife was immediately told to make arrangements because he was diagnosed with Pancreatitis. We were told his case was rare and he had a 10% chance of survival. After a six month battle in the hospital, Mike showed us just how strong he is. He will most likely attribute his strength to being Airborne lol. (He served with the 325th 82nd Airborne). Last November we held a local benefit and raised some money for his family, his bills pushed 2 million dollars and he may be forced to file bankruptcy. Mike was released and began a long road to recovery. After a few months of being able to get around, I suggested to Shaun that we hire Mike as I saw him a perfect fit into the Sniper Company family. Im telling you all this because Mike busted his ass helping me build a paint booth Sunday at the shop. I noticed at times he appeared in pain but shrugged it off. Mike came in on Monday and worked with Shaun. Within a few hours he was in so much pain he had to be admitted to the ER. Mike is currently hospitalized again and is waiting on test results. We know at this moment his pancreas looks abnormal and he has fluid coming from somewhere but doctors do not know the source yet. I am at a minimum asking for your prayers. We are also accepting any donations that you may want to give. If you would like to help, donations can be sent to:

Mike is a great guy and could use our help.

Thanks Everyone!
