In November of 2008 my husband was falsely accused by his step-daughter. Evidence showed him not guilty of her accusations, but a jury found him guilty.   During the trial, his step-daughter admited on the stand that the lead investigator on the prosecutions side told her to lie.  The lead investigator also admited this on the stand and said that the step-daughter had lied to him as well.  This case should have been a mis-trial, but it was a new judge that was on the bench and he did not throw the trial out.  The lawyers on my husband's case believed him to be innocent and also believed due to what the step daughter had said as well as the investigator that my husband would be found innocent.  The lawyers did not present all the evidence that was on my husband's side to prove he could not have done what he was accused of.  The jury however found him guilty.  My husband needs an appeal for this case.  During the past year to prepare for trial, we had to sell everything we had worked for and file for bankrupcy in order to pay the lawyers. He is a good man.  He worked for the same company for over 30 years.  He raised 6 of his own children and then was raising his three step children as his own when this tragedy occured.  Still to this day he does not hate his step-daughter that made these false accusations, but instead is worred that she needs proper counseling. He deserves another trial because his rights were violated time and again in the first trial.  But he cannot afford a decent defense without assistance.  Please help him get justice.

Hugs for Wrongly Accused!.
