On March 18th, 2010 I will be beginning a walk with the intention to help create more health and wellbeing in our nation. With over 40 million Americans lacking access to health care and with 1 in 6 facing depression it is time to take action.

 

Healing is a human right that all people deserve regardless of income, race, or beliefs. I can no longer wait for politicians, hospitals, corporations or other institutions to bring health to this county. I am inviting you all to join me on this journey and to set an example for the country. Today we wake up, today we heal those in need.

 

If you are so moved you can support this walk for healing in many ways: sending me strength and prayers, contributing financially to the healing fund which will be shared with those in need, joining me for a day, or several days (everyone can help others heal), or spread this message to those who may want to get involved.

 

Thank you so much for taking the tie and energy to read this. I am an EMT and an RN and have worked with special needs children and hospice for the past 10 years. I hope that many types of healers will join me: doctors, nurses, naturopaths, D.O.'s massage therapists, yoga instructors, nutrition specialists, therapists, counselors, reiki, therapeutic touch etc.

 

The walk will be starting at the Possibility Alliance in La Plata MO and will be heading south to Columbia MO and then west to Kansas City MO. The walk may head in any direction after Kansas City, depending on where our hearts lead us. We will try to stay in the moment and spontaneously enter towns and cities and see who or what is sent to us. This walk is for my own healing also, and I hope all who participate will find greater health and wellbeing in their life.

 

I look forward to hearing back from you. Please share with me any wisdom or suggestions to make this walk more beautiful. I feel blessed to be in a position to follow my heart, and I hope this walk gives others that opportunity also.
