Manchas is in need of major veterinary care. Not only a beloved pet-he is a Service Dog whose assistance is vital to his owner's well-being.
Manchas is a big, beautiful Harlequin Great Dane. After sustaining an injury this summer, Manchas has a torn Cruciate ligament [the canine equivalent of our ACL]. For months he has undergone veterinary treatment costing hundreds of dollars. Because he continues to suffer discomfort and has mobility issues, he is now in need of a specialist's care.
The specialist will need to administer multiple tests, perform surgery and/or other viable treatment options, and provide follow-up care. All funds donated will be used to pay for these veterinary expenses.
Manchas, whose name is Spanish for "Spot", is 140+ pounds of sweetness and a faithful companion for his human. This gentle giant isn't just a loyal pet but a working Service Dog. Until his health is restored to 100%, he is unable to provide his owner with the assistance she needs.
Please help us give Manchas - and his human - a happy and healthy future!
Thank you and God bless!
