The friends of Tyler Cundff are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against cancer. Please show your support. God Bless!
Tyler is 17 years old and has just been diagnosed with Leukemia. As you can imagine, this has all happened very fast.
Tyler is about to go through one of the most challenging times of his life. One that people his age cannot even imagine having to face. It is so frustrating when things like this happen to people like Tyler. Why is it that cancer always happens to people like Tyler? Tyler is so full of life, full of love and happiness. There is no doubt in my mind that he will win this. With his positive attitude and strength, there is no way that he can be beaten.
We have created this page because Tyler needs your donations to help offset the financial burden for his family. He will be receiving treatment at Riley Children Hospital in Indianapolis where we know he will receive the highest quality treatment and care. He deserves nothing less than the best. While his family is willing to do anything to raise the money needed, we know that they cannot do it alone... With the help of Tyler's family, friends, our communities and the kindness of strangers, I know that we can raise enough cash to help his family in their time of need. Let's help Tyler and his family keep their focus on his fight against cancer and not on the monetary costs of his treatment. Please donate whatever you can, if you cannot donate, please help us spread the word.

Tyler update Dec. 11, 2011
December 11th, 2011
Tyler and I got great news on Friday evening. We were told that he is now in remission and his body will start making the cells he needs to heal. We were so happy. We cried together for a long time. He wanted to tell his best friends in person yesterday so I didn't post it here. However, while his friends were here, his belly started swelling. The celebration was ruined when we found out that he has neutropenic colitis. It is a dangerous infection of the colon. He has been in alot more pain. They are giving him 3 more antibiotics to hopefully fight it. The swelling could cause his colon to tear and require emergency surgery. Please keep sending him love and prayers

Tyler
could definitely use some uplifting. He doesn't get many visitors here
because it is so far away. I thought I should share the address to the
hospital so that everyone could send him letters, drawings, pics,
cards...anything. I think it would do him some good to know that people
are thinking of him. The address is:
Riley Hospital for Children
702 Barnhill Drive
Indianapolis, IN 46202

From Tyler's Mom, Michelle ~ They gave him chemo again today. I dread what tomorrow will bring. If he does have a blood clot, they will have to give him blood thinners to keep it from going into his heart and lungs. His blood thinner would be dangerous because it lowers his platelet count which is already low. He still can't move today.
~ Please continue to keep Tyler in your thoughts and prayers. ~ Team Tyler
