Dear supporters of Give Forward,

 

I recently had my first experience with Give Forward. I was so pleased with the help we received and the money we raised (money our friends would not have been gifted if not for this site). It all came together so fast. I am now a big fan!

 

During this process, I had the pleasure of speaking with the Co-founder and Second Banana, Ethan. In our conversations, I noticed that Give Forward had some needs and a wish list of their own. I asked Ethan if I could please start an Individual Fund raising Page for them. He said, "Yes".

 

Here's what Ethan had to say to me, "In addition to the security badge, we really want to offer people the option to create fund raising widgets. In the last two days alone, TWO people have requested them. One of them was a mommy blogger. The other, believe it or not, was a representative from My Space who was asking if we had a widget because her client, VISA, wanted to start a fund raising campaign for Haiti and needed a widget for their efforts. Sadly, we couldn't offer either of these people what they needed. We had thought about offering widgets in the past but again, these were wish list items since it costs about $3000-$5000 to build one."

 

Here's our chance to give back! Let's give the gift that will keep on Giving Forward!

    in lieu of favors for my wedding guests....i think this is a much better place to give a few dollars. it's not much, but i hope it helps! i was planning on doing it, but you helped create a page for me. i think a widget is a great idea!
