For the past 26 years, I've let society tell me that I was too young or had too high of a socioeconomic status to grow a moustache.

Fearing the persecution of others, I never let my inner stache out.

That is, until now.

From Movember 8 until the end of Movember (the month formerly known as November) I'm growing a Moustache. For those that don't know, the term "mo" is Australian slang for moustache. Through Movember.com, I've become a Mo Bro and agreed to grow a moustache to raise funds and awareness about men's health issues and being proactive in the fight against prostate cancer.

Did you know:

* Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in the US with one in six American men developing the disease and more than 28,000 men dying of the disease every year.

* African American men and those with a family history of prostate cancer are twice as likely to develop the disease and should have regular annual testing starting at 45. All other men should commence testing at 50.

* Prostate cancer is 90% curable if detected and treated early.

Although mo money is always appreciated, please give anything you can to the Movember cause and feel free to forward a link to this page to any family or friends. All donations are tax deductible and will be donated directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation which will use the funds for high-impact research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

I will be updating this site every few days with new pictures of me and my mo so please stop back and check my progress.

Thanks for your support,

Bobby.
