The Ronai-Going-Away Party and Fundraiser for Krista, Jason, and Anna was a huge success and a great time!

The response to the party, raffle, and auction was tremendous. The cash collected at the party and donated here on the site total over $12,000!   Jason & Krista were overwhelmed to say the least, and are profusely grateful for your generosity. 

THANK YOU to all raffle & auction item donors, and to all of YOU who attended the party, bought raffle tickets or auction items, and gave here on the website.

Why the party? Our plan was two-fold:

1. Have a going away party for Krista & Jason, and Anna Ronai. They are moving soon to Chicago, and we will all miss them so!

2. Raise some money!

We wanted to say farewell and wish them well in their move, and also present them with a check. We want them to use the money for "Krista Can!"; that is, we want the Ronais to use the money for Krista’s medical expenses, Anna’s future, or however it best serves their family.

As you know, six months ago, just weeks after Anna was born, Krista & Jason learned that Krista has brain cancer. At the current time, there is no cure for her type of cancer. The plan? Fight the cancer until they find a cure! Currently her fight consists of radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

Did you know: chemotherapy and radiation costs a lot of money! Insurance often only pays a small portion (or none) of the costs. The patient can be left with a bill of $5,000, $10,000, or more!
