Give a gift that will resonate with every smile!
During a routine sonogram in July 2011, we discovered that our baby will have a condition called bilateral cleft lip and palate - a birth defect which will require 4-8 surgeries in the first year, with more following over the next 20 years.
In lieu of the more traditional baby gifts like diapers and toys, we are asking that our friends and family consider donating to our baby's Smile Fund instead.
The Pendley Smile Fund is not only intended to assist our family with the major out-of-pocket medical expenses we will experience, it is also a wonderful way to ensure that a gift to our baby is one that will last a lifetime!
Words cannot begin to express our gratitude. In these difficult times, no gift could ever be greater or more appreciated than that of helping support our child to have a normal life. We are humbled, overjoyed, and yet determined to see this challenge meet its best resolution in our baby's new smile.
