Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) for Childhood Cancer is committed to finding a cure for all children with cancer. The foundation operates on the principle introduced by our founder Alexandra “Alex” Scott – “when life hands you lemons, make lemonade.”

Bear Necessities

Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a national organization whose mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide hope and support to those who are touched by it. The organization provides support for basic family needs such as transportation and parking on hospital visits to remove undue stresses on an already overwhelming situation.

Beckstrand Cancer Foundation offers solutions to the seemingly ordinary needs of everyday life by providing immediate assistance to cancer patients and their families. Services Beckstrand offers includes making crucial payments, intervening with debtors, advocating on the patient’s behalf, and providing supportive counseling and life planning.

CANCER101

CANCER101 provides the tools and resources that patients and caregivers need to make sense of the overwhelming information and difficult emotions that accompany a cancer diagnosis. The Cancer101 Planner is a three-ring, tabbed notebook that includes everything a patient and caregiver need to stay organized during treatments and ten years of follow-up appointments. 98% of all patients who use the planners say they would recommend them to a friend.

Century Wellness Center

Century Wellness Clinic seeks to provide patients access to the integration of both conventional and complementary cancer treatments. This cancer treatment methodology is centered on respect for the natural healing mechanism of the body.

The Colon Cancer Alliance is committed to ending the suffering and death caused by colorectal cancer. The organization increases screening rates and survivorship by providing support and education and furthering research and advocacy efforts.

Colorectal Cancer Coalition

C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition is a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization that fights colorectal cancer through research, empowerment and access. C3 pushes for research to improve screening, diagnosis, and treatment of colorectal cancer; for policy decisions that make the most effective colorectal cancer prevention and treatment available to all; and for increased awareness that colorectal cancer is preventable, treatable, and beatable.

Friends Like Us is focused on helping children with cancer and their families with emotional and financial support through various resources. The organization brings awareness of childhood cancer to the forefront to inspire and compel the changes necessary to get people actively involved in making a difference in the lives of others.

Know Cancer is dedicated to connecting, educating and empowering all people affected by the many forms of cancer. Through the power of knowledge and collective wisdom we will help people to prevent, endure and survive cancer.

MyLifeLine

MyLifeLine is a wonderful non-profit organization that offers free, personal web sites to cancer patients as a way to help them stay connected and keep their friends and family updated on their progress. Their mission is to empower patients to build an online support community of family and friends to foster connection, inspiration, and healing.

TheSamFund

The SAMFund is a unique non-profit organization created to assist young adult survivors of cancer with a successful transition into their post-treatment life, by providing financial support through the distribution of grants and scholarships.
