At GiveForward, we believe in total transparency.

At the end of the fundraiser, GiveForward deducts 7% of total donations.  This 7% covers all processing fees, which include, but are not limited to the credit card/debit card fees and PayPal fees, and GiveForward fees for maintaining the website, keeping a staff on hand to help our users and continually improving the site with new features.

Donors now have the option of covering the processing fee for their individual contribution! This option is offered in the checkout process of making a donation to a GiveForward fundraising page so that more of the funds can go straight to beneficiary. That means that instead of a full 7% being deducted at the end of the fundraiser, the generosity of the donors determines what that final amount would be, which could be $0!

There are no additional fees that the beneficiary will incur from accepting the funds through PayPal at the end of the fundraiser. Transactions made on GiveForward are in US dollars. Donations made from outside of the US will be converted to US dollars and may be subject to a fee from the issuing bank or credit card. Please check with the financial institution, as the receipt from GiveForward will not show any foreign exchange currency fees.
