ONE Liberia is raising funds to support its Youth Empowerment programs in Liberia, West Africa.

Please join us on Thursday, Feb 2nd, 2012 from 6pm to 11pm for a fundraiser for the work ONE Liberia is doing with the youth in Liberia.

This event will be a fun evening of networking, mingling and dancing in support of the work ONE Liberia is doing with the youth in Liberia. The event features one hour Grey Goose open bar from 6:30PM to 7:30PM and the versatile DJ mOma.

Please come out and support this great organization that is empowering the youth in Liberia. Hope to see you there!

***Why is this important***

The work we are doing in Liberia entails working directly with the youth to empower them with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to become successful citizens and to also help them reintegrate into society and to build a united Liberia through civics education and engagement.

This fund will be used for the following types of programs: youth empowerment, mentorship, heath, unity and peace building and scholarships. For example, it costs $75.00 to send a student to the University of Liberia for a full semester. Yes, you saw that right, $75.00!!! That’s the kind of impact we are trying to make and I really need your help!
