The family and friends of Mike Stenger are working together to raise money to support Mike and his family as he transitions home.

Mike suffered an unexpected and severe stroke in November 2009 at the age of 40. After a solid year hospitalized an hour's drive away from family, followed by further complications due to pneumonia, Mike is finally home this spring with his wife Tina and their two young children, Mira and Luke. The physical and emotional toll has been significant. The further strain of losing his income is compounded by meager insurance coverage. Many of Mike's medical, home care, and rehabilitation expenses are not covered.

Your contribution will aid Mike in his recovery, rehabilitation and transition to life post-stroke. We hope to give him the best chances possible of having a fulfilling and joyful future.
