The Family and Friends of Phil Lang are uniting to raise money to help with his battle against Colon Cancer. Please show your support!
Phil Lang is a hardworking father of two. A husband who values his marriage and the amazing things his wife has done for him. He is a son who loves his parents unconditionally. He is an uncle, cousin, brother, and friend to many.
Phil has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer for the second time in 2 years. His first diagnosis was in April 2010. After several rounds of chemo and surgery, he was cancer free as of November 2010. A recent CT Scan showed that Phil's cancer has returned. He immediately started another round of chemotherapy. Phil is also looking into nutrition, massage, acupuncture, and holistic healing to help with his side effects and pain from this disease.
The financial burdens of this family are great. Harriet, Phil's wife, is the sole income. They have 2 children. Just basic needs can be daunting at times when money is so tight. The copayments are outrageous when it comes to treating cancer.
We are asking to please help eleviate some of the daily stress by considering making a donation. Money will be used to help defer the costs of Chemo and all of the medications that go with having cancer. Family and friends are constantly asking "What can I do to help?" The simple gift of 20, 50, or 100 dollars will help so much. Any amount that is given will be greatly and forever appreciated.
Also, Please keep the Langs in your prayers on a daily basis as this is an ongoing battle for the family.

Update on the langs
April 23rd, 2012

It has been a while since I posted an update....this is due to several issues that the family has wished to remain private. What I can say is that everyone is doing well and bouncing back from a very hard month. Phil had a scan of his lungs, because the drs were concerned that cancer may have spread. But the scans seem very positive and the drs feel good that there is no cancer in Phil's lungs! Harriet had to take some time off of work, so this month has been extremely hard for them financially. Please continue to pray for the Langs and if at all possible, help this fundraiser end with a bang by getting your coworkers or Sunday school group to donate! Thank you all do much for your continued support!!! Love from the Langs...Lindsey
Acupuncture
March 7th, 2012

Phil has started Acupuncture therapy to help with his neuropathy. Surprisingly, he has felt so much better! He will continue to do this along with medication, nutrition, and other therapies. He felt so much better he was able to go to Grace's Trap shooting event. Please continue to pray for Phil and his family as he continues to heal. He has a long way to go and many decisions still left to make.
Update on Phil's status
February 22nd, 2012

So, it's been a while since I've updated about Phil's status. Most of you know, but I want to keep everyone informed. He recently spent a week in the hospital due to an infected port and 2 blood clots. After having the port (his third) removed and antibiotics through a PICC line, he is now back at home. He is currently in "clinical remission" which means no more chemo for now!! He is on a drug called Evastin. He is at home receiving home health for the antibiotic treatment and PICC line care. Prayers are much appreciated and any donations also. Harriet is working full time still, and Grace is doing her best to keep her grades up. Austin is also working full time. Phil continues to be weak and needs the best nutrition and support he can receive. Please keep him and my family in your prayers!! Love you all!! Spread the word.

CT Scan
December 6th, 2011
Today's CT scan went well! Cancer is responding, not gone...but not worse. Hopefully after several more treatments Phil can have a break from Chemo! Thank God for good news!
