The Forever Young family is coming together to help Diana and her family while she recovers from surgery.

Dear Forever Young families,

The Nurturing Committee and Board of Directors need your help! As many of you have already heard, our beloved longtime educarer and Infant Center Site Manager, Diana Thames, is dealing with some serious health issues for which she is currently undergoing treatment. Diana has several fibroid tumors which are scheduled to be surgically removed on November 10, 2011. As a result, she will be forced to take 4-6 weeks off from her duties at the IC to recuperate.

At the moment, Diana is the sole breadwinner in her household, which includes Diana’s brother, sister and niece, Tauri. Diana will be filing for disability during her convalescence, but (as those of you who have gone on maternity leave may remember) there is a two-week waiting period between the first day of disability and the time that benefits begin. Additionally, the benefits will only be a fraction of Diana's regular earnings.

This is where we come in. Please consider making a donation to help Diana make ends meet during her convalescence.

Please contact Nicole Harrigan at 606-0710 or nicole_harrigan@yahoo.com if you have any questions, and thank you in advance for your generosity.

Sincerely,

The Forever Young Nurturing Committe

"Diana, you took great care of Allie (now 26) and Michelle Herson (now 22) at FY in the late 1980's. Now it's time for us to help you as a way to show our appreciation for all you did for our family when the Girls were so little. Warm thoughts, love, and appreciation to you. Allie (then called Alexandra) and Michelle's Mom, Leslie"
